The DrPH Voice showcases how DrPH-trained leaders bring rigorous, evidence-based strategies to the complex realities of public health practice. DrPHs combine advanced training in leadership, management, research, policy, and systems change with the ability to translate knowledge into action.
This series offers practical insights from DrPH leaders on the front lines. Posts will feature the National Association for Doctors of Public Health’s (NADrPH) stance on critical issues, case examples of leadership in action, and innovative ideas for workforce development and systems improvement. Together, these pieces highlight the distinct contribution of DrPH leaders: applying doctoral-level skills to address the most pressing challenges in public health.

The National Association for Doctors of Public Health (NADrPH) is the national organization dedicated to supporting, connecting, and advocating for DrPH professionals. With a growing community of more than 700 members, NADrPH works to advance public health justice, leadership, and practice by empowering DrPHers across academia, government, nonprofit organizations, and community settings.
Founded in 2018 and established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2020, NADrPH fosters professional development, mentorship, collaborative learning, and leadership opportunities for those holding or pursuing the Doctor of Public Health degree. The organization champions a future in which DrPH-trained leaders are fully recognized as essential to shaping policy, driving innovation, and advancing health equity.
