About the Author
- Carrie Thomas, MPH, is an Accreditation Specialist with the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB), where she has supported health departments for the past five years. She brings extensive local public health experience, including prior roles within health departments and most recently serving as Division Director of Workforce Development for the Knox County Health Department in Knoxville, Tennessee. Over the past 15 years, Carrie has supported health departments through the accreditation process in multiple capacities, as a health department staff member, a PHAB site visitor, and as an Accreditation Specialist.
