Crystal T. Dixon, MPH, MA

Crystal T. Dixon, MPH, MA, is an Associate Professor of the Practice in the Environment & Sustainability Studies Program at Wake Forest University and a Faculty Fellow for the Mellon Foundation-funded Environment and Epistemic Justice Initiative. Her research and scholarship focus on sustainability, environmental justice, and public health, particularly in underserved and rural communities, with an emphasis on the Caribbean. She has contributed to research funded by the National Institutes of Health and NASA and has presented her work to audiences including the American Public Health Association and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, among others. Dixon currently serves as Board Chair of CleanAIRE NC, is a long-standing member of the Greensboro Health Disparities Collaborative, and collaborates with local and international partners to advance equitable health outcomes through research, policy, and community engagement.
