Vahé Heboyan, PhD

Vahé Heboyan, PhD, is a Professor with Tenure of Health Economics and Policy at Augusta University’s School of Public Health, where he also serves as Director of the Health Economics and Poverty Entrepreneurship Research Lab. His research centers on the economic evaluation of health systems, interventions, policies, and programs, with particular expertise in mental health, opioid and substance use disorders, and poverty entrepreneurship. Dr. Heboyan’s work has been supported by major funders including the Department of Defense (DoD), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), and the Pfizer Foundation. He currently serves as Principal Investigator on multiple HRSA RCORP grants and has also contributed as Co-Investigator on numerous federally, state, and privately funded research initiatives.
