Dana K. Pasquale, PhD, MPH

Dr. Dana K. Pasquale is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Population Health Sciences at Duke University School of Medicine. Her research focuses on infectious disease epidemiology, social network analysis, and the intersection of public health and social determinants of health. Dr. Pasquale’s work leverages advanced quantitative methods to understand how social and structural factors influence the transmission and prevention of infectious diseases, particularly HIV and sexually transmitted infections.

With expertise in community-engaged research, Dr. Pasquale collaborates with local health departments and community organizations to design and implement interventions that address health disparities and improve population health outcomes. She is committed to translating research findings into actionable public health strategies and policy recommendations and is recognized for her contributions to public health scholarship and practice. Dr. Pasquale holds a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MPH from East Carolina University.
