
Hina Khalid, PhD, MPP, is Assistant Professor in the College of Public Policy at Hamad bin Khalifa University, Doha. Qatar. Her research focuses on improving health outcomes with a special interest in how government policies, institutions, and politics mediate these outcomes. She uses quantitative and qualitative methods in her work. She has authored articles in leading journals such as American Journal of Public Health, Social Science and Medicine, Health Systems, and the Lancet, among others. Her research has been supported by grants from the World Health Organization, World Bank, Shahid Hussain Foundation, and the International Growth Centre.
