Jessica Solomon Fisher, MPP

Jessica Solomon Fisher, MCP, is the Chief Innovations Officer for the Public Health National Center for Innovations (PHNCI) at the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB). PHNCI is designed to foster alignment and innovation in public health. In that role, she leads the development and implementation of strategy and operations for the Center. Ms. Fisher also contributes to, and connects PHNCI with, aspects of PHAB’s work with the accreditation program.

Prior to coming to PHNCI/PHAB, she was a Senior Advisor of Public Health Programs for the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO). She provided leadership and oversight for a large portion of NACCHO’s programmatic portfolio, including Performance Improvement and Accreditation, Community Health, Public Health Transformation, Workforce Development and Health Equity and served in a variety of other roles at NACCHO during her 13-year tenure.

She received her Master of Community Planning degree from the University of Maryland at College Park. She has authored numerous articles, trainings, and presentations on a variety of public health topics.
