Cheryl C. Noble, MSW, MSPH

Cheryl C. Noble, MSW, MSPH, is an Evaluator and Research Associate in the Maternal and Child Health Department at the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ms. Noble earned her BA in International Studies from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN, in 2003 and her MSW and MSPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011. She is an alumnus of the UNC Maternal and Child Health Leadership Consortium. Her areas of expertise include the development and implementation of research study protocols and instruments, collection and analysis of qualitative data, and program development and management.

Ms. Noble has over 8 years of experience in program development and management, and 13 years of experience in the social services and health and human services arenas. Ms. Noble currently serves as the Evaluator for the Clinical Scholars program, funded by the Robert Woods Johnson Foundation, and as the Evaluator for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists National Leadership Institute. She also provides evaluation support for the Food Systems Leadership Institute. From 2011 to 2015, she worked as the evaluator for the Maternal and Child Health-Public Health Leadership Institute. As a graduate student from 2008-2011 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she served as a research assistant with the Jordan Institute for Families at the UNC School of Social Work, as a research assistant with the UNC Maternal and Child Health Leadership Consortium, and as a Health Promotion Specialist with UNC Campus Health Counseling and Wellness Services. She has managed the design and implementation of multiple research studies, including studies of various leadership development training programs, stress in first- and second- year students at UNC Chapel Hill and on service provision for survivors of sex trafficking in Mumbai, India.

Ms. Noble worked as Director of Student Programs at International Justice Mission (IJM), an international human rights organization, from 2003 until 2008. Ms. Noble can be reached at cnoble@email.unc.edu.
